IMU CET Application Form 2021

Candidates can fill the IMU CET Application form 2021 through online mode from the website.The application form has been released from 29th July 2021 till 20th August 2021.Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph, signature, 10th Mark sheet photocopy & category certificate (SC/ST).Candidates should download and print filled-in application in standard format.After the successful submission of the application form, automated e-mails/SMS will be sent to the candidates.
Application Fee
IMU CET 2021 fee is given below:
Candidates can make payments via online or offline mode.They can submit the fee through net banking/credit card or bank challan.The application fee is Rs. 1000 for General candidates & Rs. 700 for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the IMU CET 2021, they have to check their eligibility first and then proceed to further process. Here, we are mentioning the IMU CET 2021 eligibility criteria:
Age Criteria
Age Limit: The minimum age should be 17 years and maximum age should be 25 years on or before 1st August 2021.Relaxation: There is relaxation of 5 years for reserved category candidates.Martial Status: Only unmarried candidates can apply for this exam.
Qualification Criteria
For DNS:
Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination or B.Sc or BE/B.Tech (from IIT or college recognized by AICTE).Subjects: Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination with PCM or B.Sc in PCM, Electronics with Physics as individual subject in one of the years.Minimum Marks: Candidates have to secure minimum 60% marks (10+2/ equivalent examination) or not less than 50% marks (B.Sc & BE/B.Tech).
For B.Sc:
Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination.Subjects: Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination with PCM & English subjects.Minimum Marks: Candidates have to secure minimum 60% marks in PCM & 50% marks in English.
For B.Tech:
Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to clear 10+2/ equivalent examination.Subjects: Candidates have to qualify 10+2/ equivalent examination with PCM & English subjects.Minimum Marks: Candidates have to score at least 60% marks in PCM & 50% marks in English.
For B.Tech (Lateral Entry):
Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to pass Diploma in Engineering.
For MBA:
Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to pass their bachelor degree from a recognized university.Minimum Marks: Candidates have to obtain at least 50% marks. Score 50% marks in English Subject in 10th/12th/ UG Degree.
For M.Tech:
Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to pass their graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university.Minimum Marks: Candidates have to secure minimum 60% aggregated marks.
NOTE: There will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks for SC/ST category).
Other Criteria
Before apply for this exam, candidates are informed to apply for passport before taking admission.If candidates want to apply to apply for marine courses, they have to show their medical fitness certificate by Doctors approved by Director General of Shipping.Appearing candidates can also apply but they have to qualify their examination on or before 31stMay 2021.
Physical Fitness
Candidates, who seek admission to marine courses (DG Shipping-approved courses) have to produce a medical fitness certificate that is approved by the Director-General of Shipping. Candidates with disabilities (DA), are not eligible for admission to the marine programme. Candidates have to be physically fit & meet the medical necessities as specified by DGS guidelines.
Eye Sight
Candidates must have good binocular vision. Their vision should be 6/6 (normal) in each eye separately. Candidates joining B. Tech (Marine Engineering) degree course, their vision should be unaided 0.5 (6/12) in each eye or 0.67 (6/9) in the better eye and 0.33 (6/18) in the other eye. Those applied for DNS, B.Sc. (Nautical Science) & B.Sc. (Maritime Science) degree course, their vision should be unaided 1.0 (6/6) in the better eye and 0.67 (6/9) in the other eye.
IMU CET 2021 Admit Card
Candidates will get their admit cards online mode. The exam conducting authority will also inform the registered candidates through SMS or email for uploading of hall tickets. Candidates can access the IMU CET 2021 hall ticket from our website. The admit card will be issued from 25th August 2021. The admit card contains details of the candidate such as Name, Category, Gender, exam centre venue, date & time of the examination, etc.
IMU CET 2021 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern is mentioned here:
Mode of Exam: IMU CET 2021 will be held through online mode (Computer Based Exam).Type of Questions: The question will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).No. of Questions: Total 200 questions will be asked in the examination.Time Duration: The total time duration of the whole exam is 3 hoursMarking Scheme: Each question carries one mark for each correct answer.Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for the wrong answer.
Preparation Tips
First of all candidates have to concentrate on the exam pattern and syllabus of the CET according to the opt course.Candidates can practice basic Mathematics, GK and English to prepare for the examination.Go for the complete IMU CET syllabus with deep study and try to cover all important topics before one month the exam.It is very important to make a timetable for study so, make a proper schedule and follow it on a regular basis.
IMU CET Syllabus 2021
The IMU CET 2021 syllabus is different for UG & PG programmes. Candidates, check below the syllabus for UG & PG courses: For UG Programmes: The syllabus of UG courses will be comprised of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Aptitude Test & General Knowledge. The syllabus is based on plus 2 levels (CBSE, ISE & State Boards). For PG Programmes: The syllabus of PG course consists of MBA & M.Tech Syllabus: For MBA: The syllabus of an MBA programme is as follows: Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning For M.Tech: The syllabus for the M.Tech Course is as follows: Mathematics General, Engineering, General Knowledge, English and Aptitude.

IMU CET Result 2021
The IMU CET 2021 results will be announced on 6th September 2021. Candidates will check their results online mode from our website. The authority will also send automated emails/SMS regarding the publication of the result. Based on the CET Score, candidates will be selected for the further counselling procedure.
IMU CET Counselling 2021
After the declaration of the result, shortlisted candidates have to register for counselling procedures. The online counselling registration will be started from 7th September 2021. The online counselling will be limited to admission into IMU campuses only. The affiliated institutions will not be included in the online counselling process. Candidates, who qualified for the IMU CET 2021 exam may approach the Institution directly. The counselling procedure will consist of document verification, physical fitness clearance, etc. Through the counselling process, the seat will be allotted to the candidates.
